Alisha | Disney Travel Expert |
Wisconsin Travel Agent
Hi, I’m Alisha—Disney travel expert, middle school teacher, and mom of three wild, wonderful boys based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I am a travel agent with Friend Like Me Travel Co. a Disney Earmakred travel agency specialzing in Disney Destinations.
I help busy moms plan stress-free Disney vacations that feel like actual vacations—not chaos in mouse ears. I know how much work goes into planning any family trip and a first disney vacation is no joke (or.. let's be honest, nor are the 2nd 5th, or 100th...)
By day, I teach middle school (yes, on purpose), and by night I’m usually curled up with a good book—bonus points if it came from the library (the Eau Claire library is my personal happy place). I believe coffee is magic, laughter is therapy, and that the right vacation can completely change your family’s story.

More about Alisha| Travel Agent with Friend Like Me Travel Co
My favorite Disney destination? Walt Disney World, hands down. But if I had to just pick a park? EPCOT forever. Unless I’m in California—then it’s California Adventure all the way. I love the food, the vibes, and the kind of memories you don’t need a highlight reel to remember.
As your travel agent specializing in Disney vacations, I take care of all the details—resorts, dining, Lightning Lanes, tips, tricks, and timelines—so you don’t have to spend hours researching or second-guessing. I create custom plans that fit your family, your budget, and your real life.
You just show up. I’ll handle the rest. (And yes, I’ll make sure you don’t miss the snacks.)

I joined Friend Like Me Travel Co. in the summer of 2024 and I am so lucky to be able to help families plan their perfect Disney vacations.

Here’s what real families have to say about working with me to plan their Disney vacations
As a travel agent, I help moms turn Disney dreams into stress-free, memory-filled trips—and I’m so proud to share their stories.

Alisha was very knowledgeable and while she helped us add experiences to our itinerary I may not have sought out on my own, they were worthwhile and I never felt like she was trying to pressure me into added expenses that weren't right for my family. She made several great dining reservations for us that ended up being among our favorite memories of the trip and saved me the stress of getting up early to book them myself.

Before I started working with Alisha, I was overwhelmed and intimidated by the thought of taking my family to Disney World. I hadn't gone since I was a teen and knew that a lot had changed since then and there were many more decisions to make. The thought of doing the research required to make the necessary decisions on top of my busy life as a working mom made me not want to go. However, then I found out about working with Genies, connected with Alisha, and that made the trip seem doable after all. I could work with an expert who had already done the research and could answer any questions I had.

Several of our favorite parts were experiences or dinners Alisha suggested and helped us book. My younger daughter loves princesses and so doing a princess breakfast was wonderful for her. My older one is interested in baking, and she and I enjoyed a cake decorating experience. We also really enjoyed our meal at Sanaa in the Animal Kingdom Lodge where we enjoyed delicious food and watched wildlife - eating at other resorts is not something I would have thought to do on my own

Real Questions from Real Moms (With Real Answers)
You don’t need to figure this Disney thing out alone. Here are answers to the questions most moms ask me when we start planning—no gatekeeping, no stress.
What does a travel agent do when it comes to planning Walt Disney World?
As a travel agent, I help busy families plan stress-free, magical vacations to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. From booking your resort to helping with park strategies, I handle the details so you don’t have to.
How do I choose the right Disney resort for my family?
With over 25 Disney resorts to choose from, it can feel overwhelming. I help you find the perfect match based on your budget, family size, and park plans—whether you want to stay in the magic or just crash somewhere comfy.
When should I start planning a Disney vacation?
Ideally, 6–12 months before your travel dates. This gives you the best shot at resort availability, dining reservations, and park plans. But if you’re last-minute? I can help with that too.
Do I really need help planning Disney? Can’t I just wing it?
You can wing it—but Disney vacations are complicated now. Lightning Lanes, park reservations, mobile ordering, crowd calendars… I help you avoid the stress and rookie mistakes so you can focus on the fun.
What happens after I request a quote?
Once you fill out the quote form, I’ll reach out with a custom vacation plan. You’ll get resort options, pricing, and my honest advice—no pressure, no spam.
What if my kids are young? Is Disney even worth it?
100% yes! I’m a mom of three, and I’ll help you plan a Disney trip that’s fun and manageable. From stroller tips to nap breaks, I help make the magic age-appropriate.
Do I have to know where I want to stay or when?
Not at all. That’s what I’m here for. I’ll help you figure out what works best for your budget, schedule, and family vibe—even if you’re starting from “I just know we want to go.”
